Kate Nash has announced a run of intimate Irish shows, following on from her appearances at Galway International Arts Festival, All Together Now and the Fleadh this summer, where she debuted songs from her new project exploring her Irish heritage.
Almost 20 years into her ever-evolving career, the London-based, BRIT Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and activist has seen it all, from finding huge commercial success in 2007’s hit Foundations, reaching number 1 in the UK, touring the world as an independent punk artist and even starring in HBO’s hit wrestling drama, GLOW.
Now turning her focus to music inspired by her dual nationalities, English and Irish, her new single is a cover of Sinéad O’Connor’s Famine, featuring a new original verse.

The good news for Kilkenny music fans is that Nash will be bringing her mini-tour to Kilkenny with a date booked for Cleere’s on Parliament Street for Monday 5 October.
Presented by Singular Artists, the tour takes in Other Voices (Derry, 25-26 September), Coughlan’s (Cork, 4 October) and The Ruby Sessions (Dublin, 6 October).
