Keep Her Lit, the community-focused folk and trad music festival that began life in Inistioge in 2022, is on the move again.
Having already staged an Imbolg Gathering (Thomastown, February) and Bealtaine Gathering (Graignamanagh, May) this year, it’s destination Kells for the latest chapter of the festival, with the full details of their Lúnasa Gathering laid bare.
Following two successful years of events in Inistioge in 2022 and 2023, the festival – as it was then – broke for 2024, returning with smaller, seasonal events in 2025, beginning with a return to Inistioge for last year’s Lúnasa Gathering.
This year, it’s the short hop to Kells as the festival continues its journey around Kilkenny, with Sunday 16 August the date for their latest outing.
