One of the hottest acts on the Irish music scene right now, flat out making a name for themselves on the international circuit, Florence Road are heading to Kilkenny.
The all-female Wicklow quartet have dominated Irish radio play in recent weeks with their latest single Hanging Out To Dry taking the number one spot on the Irish airplay chart last week – making them the first all-female Irish band to score Ireland’s most-played track, and only the second Irish female act to reach that honour since Radiomonitor records for Ireland began in 2012.
With a whirlwind summer of major international events and stadium support slots, the Bray foursome will also be making an appearance at Electric Picnic this summer.
Contrast that with a trip to Kilkenny, and we’re in no doubt that tickets – when they go on sale this week – are going to fly.
Set Theatre is the venue for their Kilkenny date on 28 November as part of a six-date Irish tour beginning with a show at City Hall, Cork on 28 November.

Four more dates follow in December, including Róisín Dubh (Galway, 11 December), Spiegeltent Pavilion (Limerick, 12 December), Ulster Hall (Belfast, 14 December) and 3Olympia Theatre (Dublin, 16 December).
