The Sadness of King Joyce

The Sadness of King Joyce is out now.

The debut album from Shane Joyce is in the wild and it’s a beauty. CD copies are available through Rollercoaster Records on Kieran Street while digital copies are available via Bandcamp. The album was officially released on Monday.

Vinyl copies of the album have been delayed for a few weeks due to a manufacturing issue.

“Unfortunately, the vinyl will not be ready for another little while as they have had to be re-called and re-made. I might even do another “Vinyl Album” tour when they’re all good and ready”, wrote Joyce on his official Facebook page.

Hear the full album live, and more, in Cleere’s Theatre, Parliament Street, Kilkenny this Friday night from 9.30pm. Tickets €10 in advance and support on the night from SOLA.

Shane plays The Ruby Sessions in Dublin tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm and following the Cleere’s gig his KINO in Cork on Sunday.
