To great acclaim, the first staging of Marble City Sounds at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre went off on Sunday afternoon.
The weather played ball, musicians were raring to go – some for the first time in over two years – and the audience lucky enough to bag tickets were treated to a full afternoon and evening’s worth of acoustic and electric acts.
Among those performing were Bill Hayes, Kairen Caine, Sola, Elise, Gary O’Neill, Ali Comerford, Reboot (Oh Bryan), Dead Alien Tourist, Nervetraps and The Barflies, the show overall the latest in a series of events at the outdoor venue organised by Shane Tobler at Crossroads Recording.
