Fresh from a week-long stint in Vicar Street with Bell X1, Dave Geraghty is bringing Join Me In The Pines back to Kilkenny.
For this visit, his solo project returns to Cleere’s Theatre on Parliament Street for a show on Friday 11 May.
It was late 2014 (November, perhaps) with Geraghty launching the Join Me In The Pines project for his third solo endeavour, Inherit. The gig was as intimate as you like, the songs and sound that night pure quality.

This time around, he’s performing with the band, with all new music ahead of his next album. Oh, and “it’s a bit different from what has gone before” – his words.
He’s been busy too this year with shows at Dolan’s (Limerick), The White Horse (Ballincollig) and Connolly’s of Leap road testing the new material.
Stick a five night residency with Bell X1 into March and Geraghty is back on the road for the summer. He’ll hit Kilkenny (11 May), Clonakilty (17 May), Cork (18 May), Galway (1 June), Limerick (18 June), Boyle (24 July), Belfast (11 August) and more before the summer is out.
