When Hillbilly Casino take to the stage in Kyteler’s tonight, the 2018 Kilkenny Roots Festival will be winding down.

It’s the last roll of the dice for gig goers on what has been a sun-soaked music-rich weekend.

If Monday is your first Roots experience, it will be a solid one, smashed full of quality.

Peter Oren gets the day started with a sold out show in The Pumphouse. Rachel Baiman and Molly Tuttle play the first of two shows in Cleere’s at 4pm. Hillbilly Casino begin to close out the festival at 9pm in Kyteler’s Inn.

Elsewhere, Loudest Whisper, The Midnight Union Band, Deep Down Detox, The Barflies and Bobbie Carey perform across the day.
