Chasing Abbey

Fresh from a phenomenal weekend at Sea Seasons and supporting The Chainsmokers in Dublin’s RDS, Chasing Abbey have announced a return to Kilkenny for this Autumn.

Their seven-date Irish tour sees a local leg in Set Theatre on Friday 21 September.

Chasing Abbey are one of the big success stories for the past year or two of Irish music. The band’s self-released debut single, That Good Thing, skyrocketed to the top of the Irish download charts, landing the group a global record deal with Beat UK and Universal Music Group. It was also vote Song of the Year at the 2017 Choice Music Prize awards earlier this year.

Their second single, Talk to Me, enjoyed similar success in late 2017, and was streamed over one million times within four weeks of its release.

Choices, their third release, was released on 11 May this year, heading straight to the top of the download charts. With Spotify adding the track to their New Music Friday UK and Massive Dance Hits playlists, they’re reaching a whole new audience..

Chasing Abbey (Ro, Bee, and Teddy C) have just supported The Chainsmokers this June in the RDS and will be appearing on a number of festival line-ups yet to be announced.

Tickets €15 plus booking go on sale Friday 29 June at 9am from Set.ie, Langton’s Hotel & Rollercoaster Records, Kilkenny
