Alternative Kilkenny Arts Fringe Festival

Alternative Kilkenny Arts (AKA) is currently gearing up for its fourth festival this coming August in Kilkenny.

In its first three years, AKA has proven to be a vital addition to Kilkenny’s festival calendar.

Alternative Kilkenny Arts is a collaboration of people living in Kilkenny who have an interest in the arts. Running 2-19 August this year, it offers a platform for the various different creative talent in the city and county as well as a diverse, alternative programme of national and international work.

The deadline for being part of this years programme and brochure is Thursday 31 May.

Apply for 2018

For bands, musicians, artists and performers interested in staging their own event or exhibition, a public information session will take place in the Workbench at Bank Of Ireland on Parliament Street, Wednesday 11 April from 6pm to 8pm.

Anyone looking to get a submission together for the programme can pop down and talk to the AKA team.

Online submissions can be made up until July 30th by visiting akafringe.com.

Keep up to date with the festival at facebook.com/AKAFringe and on Twitter at @akakilkenny.
