Shane Joyce showcases new single ahead of album release

Behold, The Sadness of King Joyce.

Kilkenny’s Shane Joyce (The Midnight Union Band) is rolling out new single, The Sadness of King Joyce, with the album to follow.

Engineered by Thomas Donoghue, mastered by Fabian Tormin ((Biffy Clyro, Telkommander, Kurt Vile)) the single is a precursor to the album of the same name, out April 9. Ken Farrell directs the video below.

The album of the same name gets a Fund It campaign kicking of Monday 5 February. With a vinyl, CD and digital release planned, you can get in on the ground floor to support its completion.

Ahead of the home town launch, you’ll find Shane and co in Filderstadt, Germany in March. Things get serious then with an album launch gig in Cleere’s Theatre on Friday 13 April.
