Kilkenny Tradfest is rich with sounds for 2018.
Kilkenny City comes alive from 16-19 March for the 6th outing of the festival. Finbar Furey, The Henry Girls, Moxie, Notify, Brian Kennedy and much more are on the way. With premium shows selling, there’s plenty of free music all weekend long on the Bulmer’s Trail.
Artists for this year’s Kilkenny Tradfest take to St. Canice’s Cathedral, Set Theatre, Cleere’s and other city venues leaving Kilkenny awash with musical talent.

This year’s Tradfest runs 16-19 March, with a special night in Ryan’s on Thursday 15th. Trad For Willie features a host of local trad players and musicians celebrating Willie Meighan.
Willie’s relentless contribution to live music was recognised earlier this week as part of the IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year awards.
