If you could put a roof on Castlecomer, it would only last as far as the summer before being blown off by the return of the Kilkenny Outdoor Music Festival.
Erin’s Own GAA grounds will once again welcome the big stage and a likely full house on Saturday 9 July with tickets now on sale
Topping the bill for 2022 are The Stunning as they begin a summer festival run of shows from 1 May in Claremorris including stops at Castlecomer, the Galway International Arts Festival, Forest Fest (Emo) and Revival Festival (Listowel) in August.
Mundy makes a welcome return to Kilkenny as well (in July no less) alongside The Alkove (Cork), previous guests of the festival.The lineup, so far, is rounded out by up-and-coming DJ and Castlecomer native Joe Hickson aka DJ Josie.
There’s a full bar on-site with gates opening at 6pm. Tickets priced €30 go on sale this Monday from Rollercoaster Records in Kilkenny and are already available in outlets in Castlecomer including The Gem/O’Rourkes, Holohan’s Newsagents.
