First up for the Cleere’s online concert series is Kilkenny three-piece SOLA.
I’ve compared the trio of sisters Siobhan and Bridget Cody alongside Clare Lynch to the female folk trio I’m With Her previously, but the group have come a long way since their introduction in 2018.
Forgotten Things was their debut EP, launching in May 2020 to solid acclaim, their signature harmonies weaving in and out of song whether in the studio or on the stage. Find it on Spotify here or better still, order yourself a copy from Bandcamp.
Filmed in late November, SOLA have the honour of being the first act back on stage in Cleere’s, albeit in a no-crowd-socially-distanced setting. Take a look below.
