Niall Thomas brings his brand new album, Night Sky Blue, to Cleere’s this Friday night.
Night Sky Blue (out earlier this month) follows on from Thomas’ debut release Breathe Easy (2013). Dubbed a “heart-warming selection of tender songs about daily life, human resilience and love and loss” in a four-star review by the Irish Times, this Friday gives you a chance to hear all ten tracks in full. Check it out in advance below – it’s *well* worth the listen.
There’s a wealth of talent on offer too with Karl Odlum (The Mary Janes, Mic Christopher, Gemma Hayes) and Dave Hingerty (The Frames, Josh Ritter, Paul Brady) joining Thomas on stage while Patrick M. Barrett (Hedge Schools) is special guest for the night. Odlum also worked as producer on the record.
Tickets are a steal at a tenner from Rollercoaster Records with doors 9.30pm. Bring a few extra quid for CD copies or order your own at NiallThomas.com.
