With the reveal of the majority of big names heading to Kilkenny for the 25th-anniversary outing of the ‘Roots festival this coming May Bank Holiday weekend, it might help to have a playlist to jump into to get your ears ready for one of the best weekends of live music going.
The Kilkenny Roots Festival have put together 28 tracks from 14 acts including Jolie Holland, Austin Lucas, Kassi Valazza and the highly-anticipated gathering of James Yorkston, Nina Persson & The Second Hand Orchestra (whose only Irish show this year will be in Kilkenny).
