In the case of Aslan, the same rings true as the band made their rescheduled date on Friday night, the original put off following a health scare for front man Christy Dignam.
Joining Aslan for their first appearance at Kilkenny’s outdoor venue in almost three years were Dublin four-piece Don’t Tell Mum, including guitarist Jake McGuinness, son of Aslan’s Billy McGuinness.

Return Trip
Keeping the band’s 40th anniversary celebrations going, Aslan have announced a return to Kilkenny this December.
They’ll be playing the 400-capacity Set Theatre on Saturday 17 December.
Tickets from €35 go on sale this Wednesday 10 August at Set.ie.
