With Covid restrictions leading to growing gig cancellations around the country, one gig that got to go ahead this week was the performance of Mick Flannery and Susan O’Neill at the Watergate Theatre.
The duo had appeared in Kilkenny earlier this year as part of the Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre series of summer shows but over the weekend saw a one-night performance split into four shows across Saturday and Sunday.
Ian McDonnell was on hand to capture one of those shows that also had honourary Kilkenny-man John Blek in support.
