Live music, theatre and comedy are all set for the back room in Cleere’s this autumn as part of the latest round of funded shows under the Live Performance Support Scheme.
Announced on Monday, over 20 acts will take to Cleere’s Theatre and Parliament Street for a series of mid-week shows across August and September with the possibility of live audiences at shows.
Regardless of whether people can attend – it’s all subject to active Covid-19 guidelines on indoor performances – every show will be recorded for broadcast online the following weekend. Ticket details will be announced as soon as guidelines make it possible. Per the current state of play, indoor events are off the list, though with indoor dining expected to resume on 26 July, it’s understood that limited capacity gigs won’t be too far away.

Dubbed The Lámh Chúnta Series, the schedule mixes local musicians with touring guests familiar to the Cleere’s stage and crosses music, spoken word, theatre and comedy.
