Rising from the ashes of Little Green Cars, Soda Blonde make a return to Kilkenny’s Set Theatre to close out the first run of free-to-air concert films.
This show was filmed and edited by Bearfoot Productions and Adrian Wojtas, mixed and masterede by Thomas Donoghue, with Conor Biddle on lighting design and produced by Labyrinth MGMT. The gig series is part-funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media from the Live Performance Support Scheme.
Soda Blonde’s show draws to a close a run of online concert films that have included the likes of David Kitt, Seamus Fogarty, RSAG and Brian Deady.
With a return to live gigs weeks, likely months away yet, we may well see a return to the series if and when a second round of funding is announced from government.
Soda Blonde are Faye O’Rourke, Adam O’Regan (keys/guitar), Donagh Seaver O’Leary (bass) and Dylan Lynch (drums). Theirs is a new sound that seamlessly weaves together influences from Fleetwood Mac, Little Dragon and Kate Bush without compromising the integrity and unique charm that Little Green Cars were known for.
