The finals of the Kilkenny 400 Busker 2009 competition are scheduled to take place on Saturday October 31st in Kilkenny City and will follow the same format as the heats, again, concluding with an online vote.

We’re currently arranging a sixth finalist and will be making announcements this weekend on it. We must acknowledge that Annie Chambers (harpist, round four) was also included in the initial final six but as of this morning can no longer take part in the competition. We wish her well and thank her for the music, and taking part in the competition proper earlier in the year.
We’ll have more updates during the week and we’ll be looking again at each busker.
Don’t forget that this weekend is Rockfall. It started with movie night in Billy Byrne’s last night, the annual table quiz is tonight in The Pumphouse then it’s all music and theatre between Friday and Monday to mark the 21st anniversary of the local music festival.
